Working of the Automatic Irrigation System. The logic of this system is very simple. In this system, the moisture sensor senses the moisture level of the soil and when the sensor senses a low moisture level it automatically switches the water pump with the help of a microcontroller and irrigates the plant. The main advantage of using this irrigation system is to reduce human interference and ensure proper irrigation. The Microcontroller acts as a major block of the entire project, and a power supply block is used for supplying power of 5V to the whole circuit with the help of a transformer, a bridge rectifier circuit and a voltage regulator.
